Board of Directors
Brain Injury Services Foundation is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors whose perspectives and talents contribute to the strategic direction and successful operation of the agency.
The Board of Directors for 2009/10 is:

John Ormond, President
John is a graduate of McMaster University, achieving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. He is also a Certified Management Accountant and a
Certified Internal Auditor. After 28 years of service, John retired from the position Director- Internal Audit at Stelco/U.S. Steel Canada. He
is currently working for various organizations on a contract basis. He held the positions of Treasurer, Vice-President, President, and Past
President on the policy board of Brain Injury Services of Hamilton. John is married with two teen age children. He also enjoys skiing and is
a member of the Georgian Peaks Ski Club.

Gail Jackson, Director
Gail is a graduate of two certified programs at Mohawk College in Hamilton, namely Accredited Rehab Professional and Disability Management Specialist.
Since 1995 she has operated a company called Outcome Rehab Management Inc. which specializes in evaluating skilled trade’s employees and employees that
must perform physical tasks such as in warehousing, the steel industry and the automotive industry. She has also been employed by the government,
private sector and Hamilton Health Sciences in the past.She is married with two children and they have given her three grandchildren. She enjoys
her cottage, fishing, walking, gardening, snow sledding and world travel.

Nicola Heinig, Director
Nicola has a degree in mechanical engineering from McMaster University. She also recently completed a Masters in Business Administration in part time
studies at Wilfred Laurier University. She has worked in various areas of automotive engineering for the past 15 years and is currently working
for a stamping and welding facility.

Antonella Armstrong, Director
Antonella is a graduate of McMaster University where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. She has practised nursing in a variety of
roles and is currently employed as a critical care nurse in the Neuro/Trauma Intensive Care Unit at the Hamilton General Hospital. She is married
with 2 children. Antonella has been a board member of the Brain Injury Services Foundation since 2007.

Jibran Imtiaz, Director
Jibran graduated from McGill University with a Bachelors of Engineering. He currently works at a technology company in Burlington, Ontario and actively
volunteers for a number of social work organizations operating in the Hamilton region. These include being a member of the Youth Justice Committee at
the John Howard Society of Hamilton and acting as the vice-chairperson of the Hamilton Volunteer Probation Officers. Jibran enjoys spending time with
his family and friends, any time not taken up by these is spent reading, travelling and working on pet projects.

Camille Cumming, Director
Camille is a Rehabilitation Associate with Yvonne Pollard & Associates - Rehabilitation Services. She provides support as a researcher and medical records
reviewer to Case Managers and Life Care Planners, assisting in the development of future care plans for individuals with traumatic injuries. Following
a successful career as a Marketing Manager, Camille is using her energy and skills to embrace this career change, chosen as a direct result of her experience
assisting a family member with ABI. She is looking forward to contributing her experience and knowledge as both a consumer and provider of ABI services in
her new capacity with BISH.
